It seems many people are confused who they are today, and I, being a proud Mnguni-Ndwandwe love to know my brothers and sisters. I would like clarification about the Dlamini Mavuso and Ludvonga because as you know Mavuso and Ludonga were Ndwandwe kings. We all know that Dlaminis migrated here from South East Africa and according to this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swazi_people they got here in the mid-fifteenth century According to this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Kings_of_Swaziland list of Swazi Kings / Chiefs, Dlamini I lived until 1465, which is round about when Dlaminis got here. Now, it is a known fact that Mavuso and Ludonga are native to this region, and the list of kings above also show that indeed there was Mavuso and Ludonga here. It is also known that Ndwandwe are the earliest known people to occupy Northern KZN and Swaziland area countriesquest/africa/swaziland/history.htm Tsandile Ndwandwe was the mother of King Mswati I. She named her son Mavuso II, after her great grandfather Mavuso of the Ndwandwe. Mavuso II Dlamini named his son Ludvonga II after his great grandfather. Please see freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry/~royalty/africa/i297.html#I297 Corrections on this are welcome. Regards.
