It seems pretty clear that at least some level of collagen defect - TopicsExpress

It seems pretty clear that at least some level of collagen defect accompanies autism. Most autistics are at the very least hypermobile, so we need deep pressure on our joints. But a collagen defect can go beyond hypermobility and affect things like your GI (a lax GI will not digest properly). At its more severe is Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. I really think we need to start thinking about autism as a full body syndrome, not just a brain one. PS I did this video many months ago and have since learned a lot more, but Im still no expert. I will post a link in the comments to a young woman who is sharing her experiences with both autism and EDS. https://youtube/watch?v=Mp0LzxGICtM
