It seems that even though you purchase a ticket on an Air New Zealand flight, it does not necessarily mean you will be on that flight as I found out. More...? In short, Lee buys ticket, Air New Zealand take payment and agree to the same terms of service as I accept. I get to check in time, boarding pass on mPass on Android phone removes my flight detail and boarding ticket. I go to board and found out I have been bumped off the flight due to engineering. I would rather fly on a good plane than on one that is dodge, so that is not a problem. The problem comes when I am told I would have been contacted. No I say. Hmm... so what happened here Air New Zealand? no phone, email, or text. You had my details. Eventually once the flight is closed they let me on as thought doing me a favour. Then.... they have the nerve to check my carry on size and weight! Rubbish. So, if Air New Zealand are anything like Vodafone, they will read this if they care and if not, well at least I have had my rant. you can fly Jetstar for a lot cheaper most of the time by the way, and they have front and back on and off loading and actually get to the destination way faster in my opinion and experience.
