It seems that whatever I swear I would never do, I always end up doing it. Full time 9-5 work...swore it was never for me and that I would find a way around it...by the time uni finished I was begging for routine and boring life. Alot of psych students go into HR and recruitment because apparently psych students understand people and therefore can work well with them...whatev....anyway recruiting... something I also swore against. I didnt learn psych to recruit, i learnt psych to work with people struggling with various issues... What do I begin in 2 days... a 9-5 job in recruitment. Why? because I pretty much fell into it...no interviews, no applications, right place, right time...or not? I should have just persisted with key selection criteria for psych jobs! Doesnt this go against everything the law of attraction states? Or are the believers in the law of attraction going to tell me that I probably spent too much time focusing on what I didnt want and thats why I got it? Poop. I will never work as a school councellor. I will never finish my youth work course. I will never open a drop in centre. Good things come at me.
