It seems that while we were on the Eastern Slope visiting our oldest granddaughter and attending Delta High School Softball Playoffs, one of that was driving in and around Broomfield, where the softball were being played, managed to get off of I 25 and on to a toll road somewhere, still do not know where. We were driving my sons Tahoe, so today he gets a bill from the City of Broomfield for $1.80, for driving on the toll road with out paying. So, the city had to pay for the envelope, the paper, and printer ink, they had to pay someone to generate the letter and put it in the envelope, plus paying someone to look up the license plate so they knew where to sent the bill for $1.80, and oh yes, put a stamp on the bill. Doing a rough estimate, this bill will cost the city of Broomfield about $.90 more than what they get from sending my son the bill and threat of a citation if he does no pay it, Just another example of the STUPID things agencies do that they think will get them money, Common Sense is dead
