It seems we did not get the predicted first freeze last night. I will enjoy my flowers a little longer. I spent six hours last night from 2:30 until 8:30 gathering up plants and tossing covers on some I ran out of time to gather. I am going to just do the job mid October next year so I escape the madness of the last minute rush when I try to will the freeze not to happen until November; what foolish thinking. I was aching everywhere from rushing around and lifting heavy pots. I decided to not move some large pots that I have carted in and out for years. I took cuttings and hope they strike.
