It seems we need To CLEAR up some New Orleans Pirate Krewe confusion, again....: WE are the NOLA WENCHES, a LOCAL NOLA Based Social Club founded by women in 2007. We organized to celebrate the Women Pirates as well as the Men. We, as the Nola Wenches also wanted to do more events once a month, not just the one Mardi Gras Day event the existing Krewe of Pirates currently do here. We are NOT in competition, we are two TOTALLY different groups with totally different agendas, events & both of our krewe mates do support & enjoy each others events when we can. Another point of confusion we would like to clear up is ....We, are NOT the Producers, Sponsors & are not officially affilliated in any way, with the event known as Nolapyrateweek....again, a totally separate venture with Canadian based hosts that produce seperate events & agendas. If you would like information on those groups, please go TO THEIR pages for all updates. Due to the MASS confusion that ensues when our Nola Wench page & Helm cross posts their events info ON our page for them & so our krewemates can join in & be informed , the constant messages to US about their events....& lack of reciprical of such event & info sharing on the others parts......The Nola Wench page & Helm will no longer be re-posting or sharing other events/info on our pages. Thank you for understanding. The Nola Wenches requires NO dues to be a member, nor do we charge you to be at our events. ...NO hiddeen FEES, Just fun people, having a great time when we can throughout the year culminating with our large annual Shore Leave weekend event in the middle of April.
