It should also be mentioned that the over head lighting rectangles were glued using an industrial grade acrylic adhesive that you can purchase really were ever you find plastics. We however did find that by using an injector applicator (it looks like an injection needle on the end of the bottle), that gave us the best results not to mention just how clean of an appearance it leaves. It causes the pieces of acrylic to bond with one another. These are chemicals just like any toxic glue that should be handled appropriately, wearing gloves , eye protection, if your in an inclosed space with no ventilation, wear a respirator....we fortunately had an open garage with plenty of air flow. Just as you would with anything potentially harmful or dangerous, just practice good safety protocols. And read the directions. Anyway, from here we began the process of fitting the new pieces for the saucer hull together...in these picks you can see the new lighting placed through the new artwork inserts as well as seeing what the lighted compartments look like minus the top plate hull piece... .if this ever gets boring say so, cause trust me, i truly am trying to give you guys the short version...without missing the important basic steps, needless to say as youll see in further pics, this version of the hull we were much more happier with... but there would be other issues to address ...
