It should be no secret by now that AMP Club has quite a large amount of very spendable money. The question is, what do we spend it on? I welcome suggestions as always, but I do have a few guidelines. Note how all these guidelines are satisfied by something as stupid-sounding as iced tea. 1) The items cannot be niche. So, the entire student body has to be able to benefit, very directly, from the usage of said items. 2) The items must either be fully consumable, or they must be long-lasting. 3) Going off that point, if the items are non-consumable, then the items have to be usable for a very long time. My timeframe is TEN years, minimum. 4) If the items are consumable, they have to be consumable by the whole student body. My policy with this club is to satisfy students first, club members second. This is because the student body IS our members. 5) While the items dont have to relate to music, they DO have to somehow benefit or empower the general local culture. 6) The items have to be usable and/or accessible to the entire student body. The technical finesse required to use and/or manipulate said items must be low enough to learn very quickly. Ill set that timeframe as half an hour, tops. 7) The purchasing of the items has to be entrenched in a very specific, culture-related goal. The goal of iced tea, for example, is to make the student body happy by promoting good vibes, good music, and good fluids.
