It should come as no surprise to you, that Boeing wants to replace YOU the IAM-751 represented worker, with cheap labor. They do this through outsourcing, foreign and domestic, and domestic movement of work to where not only labor is cheaper, but the politicians are as well. We also have to take into account amnesty for Illegal aliens, which is not only supported by the political right, the Republicans, and big business, but also by big labor, the Democrats, and the leftists. You might believe mostly at the behest of labors left wing political friends, but you would only be partially correct. You see, you, the average worker, have become too much of a burden on you business model unions. One such union is the IAM. The business model union is dedicated to enriching itself, keeping itself in power, and doing the bidding of its political allies. The way it does this is via dues money. And YOUR union is going to do whatever it can to keep it streaming in, including forcing bad contracts down your throat. You will only be allowed to strike if the result is at least a wash for the union, and they decide to let you stand in the cold. If they think it will benefit them, they will promote, incite, and manipulate you into a strike, and then call a vote when, and only when they are ready. We never saw it coming last year, what was done to us by our own union. We should have. We ignored the harbingers laid right in front of us. Two prior DBRs Bill Johnson, and Mark Blondin, during strikes, returned with offers from Boeing that they then recommended, that the membership soundly voted down. Those were warnings #1 and #2. Warning #3 came at the end of the 2008 strike, where McNerney had basically capitulated, but was ended too early to achieve much. Another two or three weeks on the line would have made all the difference, and reversed some of the bad elements of the 02 contract. But the IAM international became afraid of the loss of dues money due to the recession that began at the same time, and didnt want anymore strike checks going out. Strike pay going out doesnt pay for Learjets. Warning #4 came with the 2011 extension. The IAM thought great, years and years of dues not understanding the highly dangerous precedent of the mid-contract deal, with no ability to strike, Buying into this would come back to bite us hard, just a couple of years later. The IAM is now at war with the membership of 751. It is in total control of the district lodge, and every paid employee and representative there. But it cannot control YOU, and it knows it. You are merely an expense to them. A hassle. A pain in the ass. Once Charleston is unionized again, the IAM wont fight if YOUR JOB gets moved there.Just like Buffenbarger played St. Louis off of us in last years debacle. They only care about getting paid, and a union member in SC pays just as you do. The IAM could care less if its ours or theirs. You are getting less because that is what your Union wants you to have. Less. If you refuse to take less, they have another plan. Get rid of you. Just like Boeing wants to get rid of you. They now operate the same way. Its all about money, and has been for decades. Give it to them, or back to them, or you are done. So, we are offering you warning #5, trussed up, on a silver platter. IGNORE IT AT YOUR PERIL. Big labor and big business, including Richard Trumka of the AFL-CIO, and the right wing US Chamber of Commerce agree: The American worker, with his American job and American wages has to GO. Unions will simply help big business manufacture new Americans, and new union members, who will still pay dues, and work for less. And keep their mouths shut. IF YOU KEEP VOTING FOR WHO THE IAM TELLS YOU TO, IF YOU KEEP SUPPORTING THEM POLITICALLY, IF YOU MAINTAIN FULL MEMBERSHIP AND KEEP PAYING THEM FULL DUES, IF YOU SIT BACK A DON NOTHING TO RESIST YOUR OWN UNION,YOU WILL BE REPLACED BY CHEAPER IMMIGRANT LABOR. TO STICK WITH THE IAM WILL BE YOUR PERSONAL UNDOING, YOUR FINANCIAL AND CAREER APOCALYPSE. That is all.
