It took 66 Filmmakers (per pro.imdb) to make the movie, Pastor Shepherd. Sean McCormick (sound man) slept nights in a tent during the production; Danny Trejo flew coach (okay, he pretty much always flies coach); Josh Ponceman Perry (Dewey) gave up bacon for the 20 day shoot; Sewell Whitney read the complete Bible upside down to prepare for his role as Barry Sensicle; editors Chris Conlee & Caleb Kerlin spent months together in a dark room; writers Ben Going & Matt Perry wrote the screen play in just 3 days! ...and six months; Mark Putnam (DP) shot the entire film on crutches (REALLY!); Lydia Fleming produced a film without a working printer, copy machine, internet or any cell service!!!; Diane Hruska (Mom) shot 16 out of 20 days on set and had only one line with five words (shes that good); Zander Villayne (producer) drove the grip/lighting truck all the way from one country to another (California to Texas); Jim Swisher helped save a movie called Pastor Shepherd, but couldnt save Pastor Shepherd!; Scott Allen Perry swore he would not shave until the movie made it to Redbox; Tron Kendrick lived in Ireland for months to perfect his on-screen accent; Jacinto Maturino had to take hormones (estrogen) to tame down his macho; Ann M. Doria still thinks that was the real Danny Trejo (shhhh); We had to tell Mylinda Royer the movie was about a fictional character for her to sign on; Pamela Weaver asked Clint Eastwood in 2009 to push his current film so she could be on ours; Maria Elena Laas & Maria Elena Laas McQuhae had to create two Facebook pages to handle all the cool she garnered from playing the ever dynamic Annamarie-Ah!
