It took a while and a great deal more effort than it needed to be, due to multiple episodes of carelessness on the part of....me!, but its finally up and available for listeners to tear apart. Fridays show can be found in the usual spot. Lou Reed was one of the major inspirations for St. James Infirmary. I was a fan long before it was fashionable to be a fan. There is no compensation for his loss. This show is all about Lou Reed. I listened last night to an interview Vin Scelsa did with Reed when Idiots Delight was still on WNEW-FM - It was aired on WFUV - and Ill admit that my show compete as a tribute. Still, I ask you to listen and feel the respect. Not only did Lou Reed give us The Velvet Underground, but, in many ways he gave us Mott the Hoople, The New York Dolls, The Ramones, Patti Smith and so many others. Even David Bowie.
