It took the fourth try to get Bad Bob lunch. At Rio Verde the line - TopicsExpress

It took the fourth try to get Bad Bob lunch. At Rio Verde the line stretched out the door and down the side walk. Bills only takes cash. Another spot looked a bit empty for a noon time rush...finally made it back to Sheridan Corner Cafe. Not really a constant gourmet establishment, but consistently good. It was one of those days. Getman couldnt fill a couple of scripts until after the first...but i have enough of a stash to make it okay. While waiting for the ones that were being filled, a lady about 60-65 years old came in. It was difficult to check her true chronological age, because i was seeing signs of a tweeker effect. She grinned when she looked over at us, but kept her mouth closed. Tweekers loose teeth at an accelerated rate. She was thin. Her actions were jerky and cautious. Her face, God bless her, was weathered and wrinkled, but not from the sun. She was pale. Hair stringy. I am not quite sure how to put this, so I will just say it...nothing vulgar intended, just accuracy. Her very tight gray sweats were so tight...(how tight were they?) the material in front sucked right up into her...hum hum. Not pretty. When she walked to the counter the thin pants were molded to her cheeks right into the valley of darkness. She looked over and grinned at me when she saw me seeing her lower front features in such sharp relief...it caught me by surprise, and she seemed to like the attention. I actually said a quick, silent prayer for her. I didnt cross myself, as to not be so obvious. She grinned at both of us as she left, and wandered around the hall for awhile until we made a dash for the door. It was one of those days. At the local grocery I was looking for some non-existent low sodium microwave popcorn. A gray haired, elderly lady...about 70 or so was try to decide what to get, then moved on. Again, the only way to say it, is to just say...she broke wind...loudly. Instinctively I looked up in her direction and she was looking right at me. What was i to do? What was she to do? She just smiled at me, giggled, and walked on her way. A wise and happy lady. One of those days.
