It was a Rummage Sale success! Five tents staffed by 13 Pongo volunteers that braved the searing heat today and managed every detail that brought us $1,018 to help feed the hungry animals. But that’s not all. Because a special friend has stepped forward to match every single dollar, meaning $2,036 in sales for the day. Even better because as a group we laughed more than 2,036 times today. We really did have fun! Everyone deserves huge thanks for their hard work, but extra special thanks goes to Pongo Volunteer Extraordinaire Darla. She’s the one on the far right in the photo. Because without her leadership none of this would have been possible. To Chelsea, Jim, Laurie, Karen, Sharie, Erin, Chris, John, Marietta, Katie, Frank, Shannon and Darla…we are honored that you were part of this day. Because we could not have done it without you. And to each of our rummage sale donors and customers…we thank you too. And kudos to all of the groups that participated in this sale.
