It was a beautiful day for a drive to get out of the house and I ended up taking this photo at Cohoe Beach. I wasnt the only one feeling the call of spring-like weather there were a few other people down on the beach too. The open swamps are giving up the last of the snow with creeks and rivers flowing everywhere. The Kasilof is open just about all the way across at the Sterling Highway bridge. Crooked Creek and Coal Creek were flowing too. Yes, its a false spring, but that doesnt mean we cant enjoy warmth while it lasts.
