It was a beautiful night and the fans came out! We had a great crowd and they got to see 3 exciting and great Features. Bryan Clauson got up on the wheel to win the USAC Midget Feature. Early it looked as if Rico Abreu might win it from his pole starting spot, but Clauson would have none of that. He passed Christopher Bell for 2nd and then went to work on Rico. Eventually Bell made he way around Rico to claim second, but Rico was never out of the hunt as the top 3 were never more than a car length or two apart. Groomer returned to the winners circle for the second consecutive week. After last weeks emotional win Groomer, was out to prove that his win was no fluke and he did it by backing it up with another crowd pleasing performance. Kenny Carmichael Sr challenged through the entire race but just could not get around a determined Derek Groomer. Richie Lex made his way to 3rd and was within striking distance but had to settle for 3rd.
