It was a good year so far for vactions! Hard to believe the holiday schedule since Apr has been this good. In April, did two separate extended long weekends of four days to Ireland. Then in May there were no travels (but I am sure the beach (the one that is not even clothing optional) in Berlin must have been open and ready for use. In Jun managed to get in a week in Southern France (again clothing was not an option allowed at this resort). No travels in Jul as I had one boss leaving and the new one one coming in at the beginning of August but the weather was perfect for the beach in Berlin so I did not miss out. In August after the new boss arrived, I managed to get a week holidays in Southern Spain in. In September just one weekend visit to Poland. For Oct - Dec it is planned for a four day weekend in mid Oct to see Germany play Ireland in the World Cup qualification matches in Cologne and then two days on the Rhine in order to relax on the cruise boat drinking wine and watching the castles go by. After that I have an all inclusive week holiday booked for the end of October to go to Mallorca. Before Berlin gets all grey and cold (Nov - Mar). For November no holidays booked since I have to let the boss have some since in early December I will go back to visit Canada (paid for by the government!) in order to get a week of fun in the sun in somewhere in the Caribbean (location to be determined based on the amount of clothes allowed on the beach!). Just wondering what 2014 will bring!
