It was a little hectic last night with this poor boy that my daughter pulled from the edge of a four lane highway. Its completely understandable he is confused, starving, scared, and filled with anxiety. No one has come for him yet and I doubt they will. Tomorrow animal control will be here to pick him up but I would like a plan to be put in place for him after his 5 day hold. I can guarantee he will be PTS for two reasons. 1. 90% kill rate at the ACAC in Aiken. 2. Hes a pit bull. If anyone is willing to help foster him I will let animal control know the Good Shepherd Humane Society will take him after due diligence is complete. Jeanne West, has decided to call him Aiken. I wormed him and treated him for fleas so far. He will need complete vetting. Please help him stay alive and find him a safe and loving home so we can help find him a forever family.
