It was a lovely PCCHA awards dinner at the South Point last night! Its so good to see all of the dedicated Cutters enjoying the friendships that we have build in and out of the cuttin pen. I believe there are no better shows anywhere in this country than at the PCCHA venues, and I been to so many of them. I wish to express how much I appreciate all of you who work to make it all happen. From those who run our association, its sponsors, trainers, owners and all those who toil behind the scenes, you have my deepest gratitude for making my dreams come true. Winning the Non Pro is one of those accomplishments. Its not really the winning that is the real prize. Its the hours one spends becoming a better person through the dedication, hard work, long hours and especially the interactions between the participants both human and horse. Its the opportunities our sport presents to teach us to work together, to think on our feet and to become better caretakers of our friends and our horses. I am so blessed and honored to receive these awards. What a ride this has been!
