It was a perfect day to play tourist downtown. Metra ride in, then cab ride on Lower Wacker. Later, a sunny stroll south on the Mag Mile, where I saw visitors from all over the world. Heard German twice and other languages in snippets as I walked. Tasty lunch at the historic Berghoff with my mom. The Berghoff servers now wear blue shirts with blue and white striped ties. Very sharp! On my way back to Union Station, I took a few photos on Adams (one looking east and one of the NE corner of the famous Rookery Building at 209 S. LaSalle). I love this city!
