It was already dark and raining quite heavily after my 7pm class today, so i had no choice but to walk back to hostel with my handy umbrella. The thunders and lightning conquered the sky. Then came a lady in her ford that stopped at the opposite road and she winded down her window and asked me where was i heading to. I answered her briefly and she happily offered a ride back. I rejected but thanked her repeatedly and she drove off because if she stopped any longer, she would cause a traffic congestion. I was simply touched and astonished with the kindness that a stranger could offer. Maybe i looked like a damsel in distress, but nevertheless. It struck me then. That there is still truly kind people out there. There are strangers that could show act of kindness to me that even my own so-called friends wouldnt even care about. What a world.
