It was an amazing day. Some of you have been following my journey closely and some not so much (I know you really do care though!). Today, after 9 years of injecting insulin 4 times a day and suffering through one major overdose and many, many highs and lows, I have been taken off my insulin. I cant tell you how much I appreciate all of your prayers and love through this journey. I knew that God could do it, but I have to tell you that most days Satan reminded me that it hadnt happened in the past and wasnt going to happen this time either. Praise God that Satan has no authority over this life any more. Tonights verse is special to me because so many times in the past 40 years of my battle with food, the enemy has seemed to be everywhere. Most days, he still seems that way, but all I have to do is look to the cross to remind me from whence comes my help. Hes the One who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think (Eph 3:20) Deuteronomy 20:1-3 New King James Version (NKJV) “When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt. So it shall be, when you are on the verge of battle, that the priest shall approach and speak to the people. And he shall say to them, ‘Hear, O Israel: Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies. Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them; for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’ If you dont have Christ, you battle the enemy alone. With Christ, the battle is His. Im so glad Im in His army tonight. XOXO
