It was an amazing #summer weekend for #whalewatching, including the return of blue whales Blue Ray and Humphrey. But before I get into that, Id like to introduce our temporary new crew member Rocky. Rocky is cormorant who joined us on Manutea Sunday afternoon. He bumped his head on one of the cabin windows, and though he seemed OK, he was a bit startled. Instead of taking off Rocky decided to hang out on top of the Eye-to-Eye Underwater Viewing Pod and help our photographer/naturalist Dale Frink for about an hour!
