It was an exciting weekend! Started with a gathering of old makankakis followed by an enjoyable movie treat from Daniel Chia. We have not gone to a movie for many years! He sacrificed his ticket for us to watch, so I am not going to review the movie until he watches it kekeke. Then is 2 days of detoxing for my colonoscopy tomorrow and Auntie Sally Chuas curry is so irresistible I was almost tempted to postpone the test :-) but wifey managed to restrain me. Here is one of my favourite songs. Sometimes when I feel so discouraged, the words will always refresh and revive the faith and trust in our Lord! Matthew 10:29-31 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. I usually prefer the faster version but Dr Davis rendition is calming and soothing. A joy to hear him sing. Wishing all a Blessed Week ahead!!
