It was good to see the rain again this morning for most of north Texas. Yes, this was the robust system that last week we thought would come in late Monday afternoon and evening, but yesterday it was clear it would arrive in the morning hours. I am just glad that this line of storms only weakened as it moved across the area instead of being totally destroyed. But according to the weather balloon launched last night, it was clear we had minimal capping and the lingering effects of yesterdays rain shield was also minimal, and thus there would be little to stop storms from sweeping in. And the only severe report was a tree blown down. Me and the B slept right through it ;-)
