It was great to attend the official opening of South Woodford Library and Gym with the Mayor of Redbridge and the Leader of the Council this morning. Its a £600k investment that will safeguard the future of the library through the revenue raised from the gym. The gym is also part of the exercise-on-referral scheme with GPs, helping residents to tackle preventable health problems through exercise. Do go and check it out. The childrens library in particular is a real improvement. The whole centre is looking great.
