It was in the spring of 1973 March/April over tenure issues. The walk out lasted 3 days both Sr/Jr high students. Other teachers were involved but basically it was for me. A huge meeting I mean HUGE MEETING was held in the auditorium to discuss the situation. Everything worked out well for me.Dr. Frank Bogle the super. was in favor of me and Mr Robert McDonough was the pres. of the board of education and opposed me. I have to thank thousands of students for the walk out. There is not a month that goes by that someone makes a commentHey coach remember the WALK OUT WE HAD FOR YOU I retired in 2002 after 36 GREAT YEARS. It was fun every day.
