It was one year ago today I received a letter via Federal Express informing me that I had been terminated from the church I was pastoring at the time. It was a sad day for me...had a dear friend Jeffrey Bartlett leave work early to drive 150 miles to be with me for the day...and we began to wonder what the future would hold. Needless to say, one year later, this song could have been written by my wife Tracy Trapane Kriegbaumand I (Matt Redman beat us to it lol). The amazing support we have received from people all around America and Canada, as well as deployed soldiers, has been mind boggling! My current in between job is a true God-send that I absolutely love, and my wife has yet another amazing class of Kindergartners this year! As our future continues to wonderfully unfold before us, I can only say that this experience has proven the faithfulness of our God, so much so that last week I said to my wife I think everyone should get fired at least once just to experience what we have! The future is as bright as the promises of God.
