It was purely a pleasure to assist Tamara in furnishing her new apartment She had been living at the YMCA with her children due to an apartment that fire . She secured a lovely three bedroom apartment but had no funds for the rest. It was an easy job for us as the apartment was empty and newly painted. We brought in all kinds of treasures gently used by all of you. It will be cozy sleeping as there will be two kids in each bed but they dont care, they were thrilled. We worked side by side with Tamara and her 21 year old son assembling the beds and then making them . We joked that some friends break bread together, we make beds together. It was one of the experiences that make the hard ones easier. Just people helping people, joy. While we have you here, we are looking for a double stroller and a medium warm womans coat. The phone is ringing off the hook and there are so many needs, some hard stuff. Please look at the pics, maybe you will spot your donations. As always, grateful.
