It was reported that thousands of hunters were travelling to Adamawa and Borno states and assisted forces to retrieve territories captured by the Boko Haram insurgents. And it was a succesful campaign because the volunteers scored a lot of victories. Under the pressure of the Civilian JTF the Boko Haram terrorists fled Mubi south to Gombi and Hong, from where they are advancing to Yola. The terrorists also fled Adamawa North through Chibok in Borno. It is beyond belief that the Nigerian security services are furthering the terrorists agenda by further detaining the civilian patriot. Local Adamawa hunters Suleiman Abba, who is the Inspector General of Police, announced on Thursday to witch-hunt in the name of “screen” all the vigilantes across Nigeria. Dr. Peregrino Brimah, who is the Public commentator, in his reaction, explains that it was an attempt to hinder progress of the Nigerian soldiers. The government proved this by ordering the vigilante forces to assemble in Yola for so-called screening.
