It was the Breast walk ever! I did over 13 miles in under 4 and a half hours. The hilarious thing was that I had parked my bike at another park beginning with B, not Beale Park so I ended up having a lift from the CEO of Breast Cancer charity back to my bike and then having to cycle quite a few miles back to Wallingford to collect my car. Turns out she is a Christian and works in Abingdon (and has sung Carmina Burana) and we had a lovely conversation. I told her about the three pictures that were given at church this morning (a swan with babies on its back; a soaring eagle and a canal lock that was blocked at both ends so the HS could not flow). Amazingly I saw something like all these in the space of under 5 minutes in Goring. There was a photograph of a swan with cygnets on its back in the window of Goring Mill, the lock was shut at both ends and there was a raptor soaring very high above the Ridgeway - not an eagle! Praise the Lord my asthma was no problem either. The bra held up, by the way, but my pink tops strap broke on one side so I went to an Abingdon Passion Play meeting this evening revealing rather too much.
