It was two years ago today at this very hour that I last laid eyes on my beautiful little angel London while she was still alive. Brad drove all the way across town to my work at lunch time to surprise me with London. I was so happy to see them in the middle of the week. I held London close and hugged her tight. Then I took her down to my department to show her off. She met almost 30 ladies in the next few minutes. Each and everyone of them had to touch her fat little toes or fingers or tickle her belly or lightly pinch her cheek. She was so outgoing to everyone she ever met, she never knew a stranger. So she never shed a tear, shyd away from the ladies or anything. She actually showed off her bubbly personality with every lady, just as if they were the only people in the world at that moment. Of course that was just London and her personality. It was time for me to get back to work so I started walking Brad and London back to the break room. Brad had taken her in his arms and was ready to leave when she was making the weirdest face I had ever seen her do. Her face was all scrunched up. I asked Brad what she was doing. He looked at her and told me she wanted a kiss. So I leaned in towards her, she lunged for me thru her arms around my neck squeezed me so tight and gave her the biggest, longest, strangest kiss. She had never kissed me this way before. Her slobbers were all over my lips and she literally sucked my lips into her mouth. I was giggling and she was too. (I wonder if she knew this would be our last encounter and wanted me to never forget that kiss, and I never will) The next time I got to see my angel was at Vanderbilt Hospital, she had already begin her life of eternity in Heaven and with no doubt had already sat in Jesus lap by then. Baby girl, Mommom loves and misses you so much. I know you would never want to leave Heaven even for one more minute here on earth, but I sure wish I could just hold you or touch you one more time.
