It was way back in 2008 when we (my wife and I) created ROCKGOD MUSIC SCHOOL with the goal of turning kids into Rockstars! Two of my first ever students were Jacob Richardson and Billy Matthews. The cool thing is these boys (can I still call Billy a boy at 18?) along with Jamie Bailey, Pat Stevens & Brandon Alexander, all ROCKGOD students since 2010, have been doing great things together as Enemies With Benefits for the last two years. I (Jonny Gardiner Music) have personally been mentoring the band during this whole period and couldnt be more proud of them. They are now accomplished musicians and songwritters not to mention savy self promoters and just a great bunch of guys to be around (with the ability to occasionally drive me nuts!) After months of hard work (as a part of our Band Mentoring program) Im proud to announce the launch of Enemies with Benefits debut E.P. The boys will be holding the E.P launch at the Youth Arts Warehouse in Gosford on the 21st November. They need to raise funds to put on the event and cover the costs of printing and manufacturing the C.Ds.
