It was written by me as a comment on an important post regarding Dr. Zakir Naiks specialty on the comparative religion and his current controversial phenomenon. considering its significance I have decided to present my that comment before you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Couple of years ago I used to watch QTV and found Dr. Zakir’s lecture series on comparative religion. Those lectures were very impressive and unprecedentedly influential. I became fond of him at that time. But with time being I got surprised when I saw Dr. Zakir disappeared from the schedule. Why? What I am going to do is my individual opinion. I don’t know whether you will agree with me or not in this issue. But I just request you to read it. The influence of Ahmed Deedat on Dr Zakir and his deviation: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dr Zakir was the student of Ahmed Deedat, a sunni Islamic scholar, in the case of the comparative religion. So while his being student of this scholar, the influence of Ahmed Deedat worked on him as a whole including the sunniyyah. This is what psychology says. But later on, he was deviated from the teaching and ideology of Ahmed Deedat. Even he forgot his mission ‘ The comparative religion’. Who was Ahmed Deedat? ------------------------------------- 1. Ahmed Deedat was a rare gem and a Sufi at heart though his arear of specialization was comparative religion. He also had exceptional memory, but he never misused it. 2. Ahmed Deedat belonged to Ahlus Sunnah wal jama’ah. He was the supporter and follower of Hanafi madhhab. 3. He used to support Miladun nabi sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. 4. Ahmed Deedat was a sunni scholar, proved from the fact that salafi scholars declared him mushrik and Bid’ati (innovator) for his spontaneous Ahlus Sunnah beliefs. This is the video link URL . Watch it. youtube/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=5Ldr3Ppt8uE An example of Upstart: -------------------------------- Based on the information mentioned on his website, it is clear that Dr Zakir was influenced by the lectures on the comparative religion by Ahmed Deedat of South Africa when he was studying medicine. This means that his self-home- reading of Islamic subjects started when he was around 22 years old. Amazingly, within 3 years of his self- reading along with his extensive medical full time on campus study, semester exams, medical internship ,so on and so forth, he read everything about Islam and established Islamic Research Foundation in February 1991 and started full time da’wah. Brain wash: ---------------- It was not recorded before to invite salafi scholars by Dr Zakir Naik. But now a day, it happens constantly. It gives us the idea that he is the merciless victim of the claw of wahabism. His wonderful intellectual excellence was in crash. As the history gives us hint and evidence that the British found another intellectual person, Muhammad bin abdul wahhab, and made him as their agent to implement their fore sighting propaganda, exactly in the same way, the wahabis ,the present British agents, found Dr Zakir as the man of the same role to implement their mission. Hence Dr Zakir failed to identify them, and now it is quiet impossible to do that illaa maa shaa Allaah. Wahabis are now very happy. They are successful to win over the intellectual psychology of Dr Zakir. The evidence is so common. Peace TV is now the worldwide da’wa center of the wahabi sect.
