It wasnt her easiest year, she got one of her programs right at both GP events but both never came together the way she wanted them to. Mirai has never had perfect consistency, but when she is on she is amazing. I always had this feeling she was so busy trying to get either her short or free perfect one would suffer at the expense of the other. Dont rule her off the podium because she has this habit of doing unexpected things at unexpected times. She does not seek out the press a lot, and make a lot of pronouncements, but as an individual she is most charming and charismatic. She made the change to stake in Colorado Springs and relocated there in 2014, but in looking at her, skating there has really done a lot of good for her. Two skaters would fall on their sword for her-Agnes, (who is not skating this year) and Adam Rippon. Adams network relationship to me is very strong and this year I also enjoy discussions with Agnes as well. She is most kind as well.
