It would be ridiculous to approve the caravan park.Glossodia is NOT a tourist destination!! the caravan park is not in an area where people would visit on a holiday!The park would be purely for people who are disadvantaged,underprivileged and homeless due to the lack of public housing everywhere! These people deserve better than being pushed out to Glossodia where there is no infrastructure,appalling roads,no real shopping centre,no public transport,schooling,medical access etc...if this is approved then something is very wrong and should be immediately investigated ....and if so,then anyone on acreage should also apply for a D/A and make a profit on what will be a pseudo public housing estate for the underprivileged after all this will set a precident and there should be equity for all to have that opportunity!!We get 40 degree temps here do we really want to see young families living in caravans!! And very cold winters its an absolute nonsense.If approved everyone on acreage should apply for sub-division of their property and build public housing this would be better than a caravan that no one other than the homeless would frequent. Maybe council should do some serious lobbying on providing public housing in appropriate areas with appropriate infrastructure so these people do have proper opportunities in life.How absolutely ridiculous to put a caravan park in Glossodia.
