It would mean the world to us if every bike riding child would wear a helmet and always watch for cars and most importantly if every vehicle driver would slow down and realize that the vehicle that they drive will not stop on a dime. Faith was riding her bike home from the library last night and collided with a car that almost hit her friend riding bike in front of her. She is in some pain but no broken bones. she left a quarter size amount of hair on the road and is lucky to have her right ear. This could have been worse, much worse. Thank you God for watching over us and reminding us all of this fragile thing we call life. A large thank you to my daughters friend for doing everything she could to get Faith to me so I could get her to the hospital, and for staying with her and holding her hand through the examination. Thank you to the doctors and the police and the driver for rapid follow up. Thank you Melissa for dropping everything for us. I always know that when I Need you, you will be there. Thank you Liz for getting to the er an staying with us till we knew that Faith would be ok. Thank you to all of out family and friends for your prayers and concern.
