It would seem that our society is inundated with science shows, not only Neil, but others as well. There is no longer any room for anything but science, religion or faith is relegated to the uneducated. The interesting thing is that we have noted is that the average scientific discovery lasts around 7 years, before being adjusted or replaced with another. We have rejected transcendence for immanence. We have rejected the Living God with a golden calf with clay feet, and it doesnt seem to bother anyone. TV shows now speak of religion and faith as mythical beliefs. Atheism is in. Not the virulently violent kind, but the insidious kind that destroys the souls of men, because it grows quietly and wreaks havoc and then destroys like a cancer.
