Italian Tiramisù (Egg free/Tummy friendly) In Italy, Tiramisù is usually served as dessert during cold season because one of its major ingredients are the raw eggs. BUT, they have an alternative recipe during summer... Ingredients: (for 4 persons) 250g ricotta 250g mascarpone Savoiardi 500g ( ladyfingers biscuits) 4-5 tbsps granulated fine sugar Chocolate chips(optional) Unsweetened cocoa powder (enough to sprinkle on top) Shaved chocolate (optional) Freshly brewed espresso coffee Proc: Using handheld electric mixer, whisk the mascarpone, ricotta and sugar. Mix well. Prepare the pan for layering.. Put a little of the mascarpone mixture at the bottom of the pan. Soak the savoiardi biscuits in espresso coffee and place it one by one until you fill in all the space of the pan. Pour the mascarpone mixture just enough to cover the biscuits. Drop some chocolate chips if using. Repeat the procedure until you finish your mascarpone-ricotta mixture. Put in fridge for 6hrs or overnight. Sprinkle cocoa powder or shaved chocolate on top before serving. Buon Appetito! 😉
