Italian icon, Australian wine The legend has brought to reality thanks to the new label that shows the well known hunch-back jester in the forefront. It is not as precise as a photograph or as flawless as a reproduction either. It comes to an illustration, and it is precisely there, in these strokes, in that handwritten component, where the wine manages to communicate its being. Undoubtedly, the colour, or rather its absence, plays a sibylline role to the extent that black and white are the only visible contrast all over the label. The Croatian graphic designer Damir Polutranko was tasked to create a sober labeling able to hold the wine cellar philosophy. In addition to the label, Polutranko was responsible for the box design, a geometrical wooden case with the only detail of a carving with the logo that seems to feature that less is more. packchannel/articles/italian-icon-australian-wine
