Item #3: Ammonite Woman Brooch New for my etched metal line: Brooches and pins! Ive created the etched metal sheet and crafted the brooch into a stylish accessory. The pattern features an Art Deco-ish woman with ammonite twisted hair and background. In addition, a ceramic ammonite (made by Suburban Girl Studio) has been glued onto the brooch for added dimension. The edges of the metal have been smoothed and then fluted for a ruffled border. Ive colored the copper to with Black Pearl metal patina line and then sealed the front and back with a protective lacquer finish to preserve and protect. The front of this brooch has a matte (not shiny) finish. The brooch is 2.25 wide by 3 long. Its a statement piece. The pin back is attached at the top on the back so that you can easily attach it to a shawl or jacket.
