Its 10:44 pm- early for NJ, not so early for a 6 hour difference here in Oahu. As beautiful and wondrous as our first day was, I must be honest- I couldnt relax. I was live wire times 1000. The flight and arrival could not have been more perfect. It wasnt jetlag. It was my mind trying to wrap itself around why we are here. This wasnt a random family vacation like weve had before. It had purpose and planning and my own secret, silent, wish; full of health and prayers and hope. May I say; today was *perfect*. Absolutely perfect. Granted, a cabana didnt hurt, I dont mean that. I mean 4 days of no eye pain for Lily. I mean moments of complete joy, all day. Throughout the day and evening. For all Andersons. Jasmine belly laughing. Lily in full Lily mode- dancing!! Quality time with each werewolfy. Husband. Self. More of *this*. Did you know another #DIPG family kept Lily in their prayers during their pilgrimage? I am grateful and *aware*. Even when we leave paradise, I remain hopeful and in love with Hawaiian music . #teamlilylarue
