Its 3:50 AM Paris time and I cant sleep. We spent yesterday in Montmartre. It was a wonderful way to spend the day strolling through the winding streets and conquering the multitude of steps....up and down...up and down. The highlight of the day was visiting Sacre Coeur! The Byzantine architecture, incredible domes and intricate mosaics were stunning. Sitting at the highest point in Paris one is afforded some of the most spectacular views I have ever seen. The rest of the day involved sitting in cafés and shopping! TRES BIEN!
