Its *Almost* Back The owners of the Dairy Queen in Ranson, Peterson Enterprises, requested a construction walk-thru, today, in preparation for an anticipated opening inspection prior to the unveiling of the new establishment. The DQ is slated to open the *Wednesday, December 3rd*, three days before the annual CharlesTown/Ranson Christmas Parade. Look for opening announcements. We were able to get a few pics of the new biz. Its impressive. In addition to a new layout inside, there is the opportunity to dine al fresco in the sidewalk café tho that may be an option best suited to warmer temperature, enjoying a DQ Blizzard :) If you were a patron in the past, youll be delighted to know that almost all the former employees are slated to return to provide service. The menu will remain the same. Of Note: The family which operated the DQ in the 1950s and was heartbroken by the fire last May 19th remains at the helm. Welcome Back, DQ & Bon Appetit
