Its BAGILA RECIPE DAY! Remember the extra moist butter cake we posted last week? As promised, heres the recipe : 4 cups all purpose flour 3 teaspoon baking powder 2 cups 100% butter (we used ballatyne butter) 1.5 cup castor sugar 3 grade A eggs 2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1.5 cup full cream milk Method : 1.Grease and flour a baking pan. 2. Sieve the flour and baking powder. 3. Use the creaming method, beat butter and sugar till white and fluffy, about 5 minutes on medium speed. Add eggs one by one, beat 20 seconds between each egg. Followed by vanilla. Scrap mixer bowl occasionally. 4. Add the flour, alternating with the milk just until batter is mixed, about 1 or 2 minutes. Do not overmix. 5. Bake at 180C for 45 minutes or slightly more. Enjoy ! Make sure you use 100 % butter and not cheap butter. Keep the cake in an airtight container when not consuming, as it will dry out if left uncovered. Let us know how your cake turns out. Happy trying!
