Its FREE! 116th Annual Central Carolina Fair to Open Friday at 5 p.m. Opening Night Special - FREE Admission The 116th annual Central Carolina Fair will begin its annual 10-day run on Friday, September 12 at 5 p.m. Admission on opening night is free! Taking place at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, the Fair will once again feature spectacular rides, carnival food and games, thousands of exhibits from local 4H groups and wholesome family entertainment and attractions for all ages. The opening night festivities will include a concert performance by Greensboro’s Heartbeat of Soul (hbofsoul) which will perform a variety of Motown, beach, rock and soul hits beginning at 7 p.m. 116th ANNUAL CENTRAL CAROLINA FAIR SCHEDULE Friday, September 12 – 5 p.m. – 11 p.m. (gates close at 10 p.m.) Saturday, September 13 – 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. (gates close at 10 p.m.) Sunday, September 14 – 1 p.m. – 10 p.m. (gates close at 9 p.m.) Monday, September 15 - Thursday, September 18 – 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. (gates close at 9p.m.) Friday, September 19 – 5 p.m. – 11 p.m. (gates close at 10 p.m.) Saturday, September 20 – 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. (gates close at 10 p.m.) Sunday, September 21 – 12 p.m. – 9 p.m.
