Its Friday Friday! Composer Fun Fact Day Friday! Today were featuring David Biedenbender: I spent most of the first five years of my life in Tucson, Arizona. Because of the climate there, most of the houses in our neighborhood, including our house, had rock lawns instead of grass. When I was three or four years old, we visited family in Michigan, and I touched grass for the first time – I was completely terrified of it! There are actually pictures of me being held by my father over my grandparents lawn, Tom Cruise Mission Impossible style, while screaming I dont want to touch the grass! I am proud to say that I have overcome my fear of grass, and I can often be found lounging on a lush, green lawn on warm, summer evenings. Were glad you faced your fears, David!
