Its Harvest Time...Ministry Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. (Joel 3:13 KJV) * Brethren, God has called us to get down with Jesus to reap the harvest of souls; for the wickedness of the is great but we have a good, better and greater message to save them. Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest...I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours. (John 4:34, 35, 38 KJV) > Jesus knew that the wickedness of the world is great, so He gave us a greater and more perfect message and sent us as sheep among wolves to reach out and save them; its called the gospel of the kingdom/Christ (Mk 16:15-16. Rom 1:16-17). But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work(Matt 28:18-20. Mk 16:15-18) and labour of love(giving 2Cor 9), which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. (Hebrews 6:9, 10 KJV) But now hath he(Jesus Christ) obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. (Hebrews 8:6 KJV) But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building. (Hebrews 9:11 KJV) * Ministry: things that accompany salvation; And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover...Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
