Its Monday morning, and weve begun to wind down from our daughter, - TopicsExpress

Its Monday morning, and weve begun to wind down from our daughter, Megans, wedding on Saturday. Sadly, I can think of so many more things I could have/should have done before and during the celebration, but those shortcomings cant take away from the pure joy we shared with so many of our family and friends. Megan and Mike (the new Mr. and Mrs. Moll) had a special day, and we were blessed to begin their married life with a beautiful Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, an inspirational setting for seeking Gods seal on their union as husband and wife. This was an especially beautiful homecoming for our GiGi, Marie Shurmantine, who was also married there many years ago. Our parish priest, Father Sean McCaffery, very elegantly described how special and wonderful it is for Megan and Mike to have joined their lives together in the love of Christ, and how important it is for that love to be the foundation of their marriage. We had many wonderful friends and family members join us at the reception. While I had resolved to try to get around to greet each and every person there, the evening just got away from us, and so I am using Facebook to say things to folks that I should have said on Saturday. We love each and every one who was able to come and share the evening with us, and we missed very much those who could not be there, and we will treasure the memories of the celebration forever. We are blessed to have such loving family and friends and honored that so many joined us in our happiness. God bless them all, and God bless Megan and Mike in their new life together.
