Its Not Over Yet: During the London 2012 olympics, the 110m hurdle final to be precise (Liu Xiang) a Chinese athlete who was a former champion fell and hurt is achilles. Everyone left him and finished the race. He was devastated at his fall and injury. However, he went back to the hurdles, limping with one leg and tears in his eyes he finished his race. At that point, the whole olympic stadium rose and applauded him. Even some of the other athletes came back to help him. You might have had lofty dreams at the beginning of 2013 yet some or none came to reality. You might have had hopes at the beginning of 2013 yet it still seems the tunnel is still dark with no light in sight. Beloved, are you dejected and fallen like that athlete? Im not promising you there wont be hurdles in 2014 nor dark tunnels but there is a power in you to stand up again no matter how broken; to live that dream. Rom 8:11 says But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you. Remember, as you go into 2014 with JESUS, may your dreams come through and Gods purpose for your life get manifested in Jesus Name.
